Jake Suski

Mr. Jake Suski - Chief Executive Officer brings nearly two decades of leadership experience spanning energy, infrastructure, government, finance, and corporate strategy. As a Director of Novastus, he provides strategic guidance to the company as it advances its mission of transforming waste into valuable resources through innovative resource recovery and energy technologies.
Jake has built a distinguished career at the intersection of public policy, infrastructure development, and emerging energy markets. Prior to joining Novastus, he was part of the executive leadership team of a founder-led energy company that evolved into a globally recognized, publicly traded enterprise. As Managing Director, he led global corporate affairs and helped establish the company’s clean technology division, driving investments in renewable hydrogen and supporting the creation of a subsidiary responsible for managing Puerto Rico’s power generation and fuel management systems.
Earlier in his career, Jake served as Senior Vice President of Communications and Broadcast for the Milwaukee Bucks, where he played a key role in the organization’s rebranding and transformation. He was instrumental in efforts that led to the development of the team’s new arena and entertainment district, helping reshape downtown Milwaukee and strengthen the franchise’s long-term position.
Jake began his professional career in government and politics, leading communications and campaign initiatives for several prominent public figures, including Governors Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jon Huntsman, and Rick Snyder, as well as Senator John McCain. His experience navigating complex stakeholder environments, public-private partnerships, and large-scale strategic initiatives provides a unique perspective that supports Novastus’ growth and development.
Jake holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. He resides in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife, Summer, and their two children, Levi and Lennox.
